Drones are a integral part of the modern battlefield, thus counter-drone technology and tactics must become part of the forefront of small unit tactics. This radio, part spectrum analyzer, part communications receiver, is currently being fielded in Ukraine as an early warning device for teams on the ground. Radio triggers an alarm and vibrates when detecting RF from any of the known drone operating ranges and identifies each, such as a UAV, FPV, etc.

Monitors 300MHz - 6 GHZ, powered by a rechargeable lithium Ion battery.

The drone detector does what it is designed to do. I’m not sure of the range, yet. The manual is very basic. Inquired about spare batteries, but haven’t got a response. It has a dummy PTT switch on the side of the unit, which does nothing, as it doesn’t have transmit capability. I’m guessing the manufacturer used a common radio case to contain the electronics, rather than constructing a specific enclosure. Overall, I’m satisfied with the unit, but not overwhelmed.

Actually you did receive a rely on batteries, you use a spare cell phone battery. Its a USB-C port that accepts any external battery.

On range, that's dependent wholly on RF, as I also told you. Test your gear rather than look at it on the shelf.

The button is not a PTT, that's the menu button, it says so in the manual.

    Appears to be good gear...

...I have little to no idea how to employ it. Need some kinda "For Dummies" instruction

Cut it on, it detects drone signals. Its idiot proof.

I've done two videos on it posted to X and on American Partisan.
