What Our Customers Say

“This place is a hidden gem. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what they do. The store carries a wide range of high-quality gear—from freeze-dried foods and first aid supplies to radios, night vision, optics, and more. It's not just a shop—it's a resource. Where else can you buy a radio from the guy who literally wrote the book on the subject? Highly recommended for anyone serious about preparedness or tactical gear.”

— C.S.

“Customer service is second to none. Most of the equipment they carry, whether it be optics, night vision, thermal, radio has a learning curve. They push that curve down flat for you with their knowledge which they are happy to impart. The store has a great atmosphere and is a great place to hang out, meet people and learn. They even have a darkroom you can use to fully experience using night vision. Almost forgot, aside from all the enablers, they carry top quality IFAKs and replacement items. The icing on the cake is they have instructors who offer classes to get you going the right way in all the avenues you need to best protect and provide for your family and community.”

— S.B.

“Solid guy, reasonably quick shipping. Best part, if it says it's in stock, it's actually in stock. Awesome trainer as well, value from training courses are much more than he charges. He writes books as well, great value from the information!”

— F.W.

“I have to say that Brushbeater has been an invaluable resource for comms literature and equipment. Anyone who is interested in field comms and general radio knowledge should absolutely turn to Brushbeater. I recently sent a good friend of mine to the store because he was interested in night vision. I let the owner know he was contacting him and within less than an hour of initial contact he received a response, got solid feedback, and placed his order that was shipped next day. Customer service is top notch! Thanks!”

— S.H.

— M.J.
