The Brushbeater AR-152 Radio Pouch was deigned from the ground up for maximum functionality and modularity for use in a wide variety of roles, from mounting on a chest rig or other tactical gear to a standalone case offering a level of protection. Pouch folds out from MOLLE platform to allow for troubleshooting in the field on the front panel. Radio loads from the top with a webbing retention strap to prevent equipment loss while allowing for full indexing of radio’s volume control and antenna port. Sides of the radio pouch can be opened to index the microphone port and PTT button.
The Brushbeater AR-152 Radio pouch is constructed of 500D Cordura.

If you have a 152 ( I even use it for my 5R ) this pouch puts the screen towards your body, which may save the screen when you go prone, and tips out to allow manipulation of controls w/o removing the radio. Great thought went into making this.

They are great pouches, which is why I ordered another when they went on sale.
HOWEVER instead of a tan AR-152 POUCH I received a tan AR-152 RADIO. I immediately responded to the query saying I’d like to pay for the radio and I STILL wanted a pouch.

Prior to this pouch being available I purchased 2(two) from Chase Tactical. While similar they are different in the following ways: Chase opens out further to access keypad while wearing+, BSI has the keypad covered+, BSI has larger keypad/screen opening though not by much, access to remote mic/
speaker jack and power jack, about the same , Chase has 4(four) loops on the
PTT side that could hold IR chemlights or a writing tool of your choice+. Overall construction, stitching, and materials are comparable, and the only improvement I would make to both would be to add openings on the PTT side to access the monitor and alarm keys without removing the radio or retaining features. Items noted is the reason for my rating.
