Upon receiving my order I took it to a relatives house to check out. A distance test for practical use is scheduled once he returns from vacation so I can’t yet comment on radio. However I can make an observation on the battery. Somewhere on my drive home I managed to turn the radio back on. A full week goes by and my wife tells me she’s hearing a mechanical voice from my office but didn’t want to go through boxes. It was the radio I’d inadvertently left on letting me know the power level was getting low. That alone was impressive. Still waiting for relative to get home to test range.
