The PDO features a 6061 aluminum housing, red emitter and the most rugged glass we could find. It has been drop tested on concrete (by Joe Dolio of Tactical Wisdom) and recoil tested on a 45-70. Other design considerations we thought of after nearly two decades of combined optics use on handguns: exposed battery compartment access so you can actually change the battery without needing to remove the optic, a simple flathead screwdriver turret adjustment, and a simple red 3 MOA dot for fast target acquisition. The PDO uses the RMR footprint for maximum mounting versatility. Unlike some, we run our gear before it ever gets out the door ensuring a no-fail mission. Better than my Holosun
Besides being infinitely more affordable, the stability of my red dot mark exceeds what I get from the brand it replaced. Prior to installing this optic, I had to confirm that the red dock had not drifted on the old optic. After over 100 rounds with the Khyber, I have stopped having neck concern.
