Description
The Scout Course is a 3 day small unit tactics course teaching the fundamentals of intermediate range marksmanship to 400 meters, camouflage and concealment, small unit movements, ambushes both day and night and raids.

Students are required to have an A2 flash hider to run 5.56 blanks.
Upon completion all students will be awarded the Brushbeater Resistor and Francotirador Patches of special distinction.
Course location in NC is sent upon registration.

I took this course as well as the Recce Course in Feb2026. Well worth ones time. Instruction easily digestible for non-prior service and those who had support roles in service. Pay attention to the equipment list and if you question your fitness level plan accordingly. The terrain is not the Appalachian Trail but its not a walk in the park either. If you take it seriously it can be work. Be prepared to meet very cool and interesting people. Take lots of notes. Ive taken several courses and refer to notes often.
