Very happy with this purchase. the shipping was fast all Items arrived well packaged and undamaged.

I made this purchase during the Wolf night vision sale and was blown away when reviewing my receipt. I received the Night cap, shroud mount, dovetail helmet mount and J arm at no cost!!! I fully expected to pay for the night cap and shroud mount so this was a big surprise.
The equipment all fits together well and works as advertised. Quality products and the best prices, incredible customer service. I will continue to purchase from BSI in the future.

    Bang for buck

My first NV device. I am beyond excited with the wolf14. For someone who is new to the NV world I believe getting this was a good idea to get the hands on experience with. I do not have a lot of other time looking through tubes but I can say that I am very happy with what I can see on the wolf14. The white phosphorus is not very eye-fatiguing for me which is a plus.

    Good and not so good.

Good: The optic itself works well for its price point. it is a good entry level NOD that will get the job done.

Bad: MOUNT SUCKS. Bad. Lock up is not secure and wobbles. Mounted to helmet. Used twice. The tab in the bayonet/horn interface that secures the J-arm into the mount snapped off under the weight of the optic while running. Of course no spare or repair parts listed for it. You can make it work with a Norotos RHNO mount, if you cut and shave parts off of the Norotos mount with a grinder, file and Dremmel, and one strategically placed zip tie. Which i would have preferred not to do, because now this Norotos mount will forever be dedicated to this optic.

End user would be better served if optic had the ability to use other, more robust mounting options and not proprietary components.

    Best bang for the buck

Used this unit on night 2 of Scout course after first night of thermal only. Thermal was great for identification of threats but useless for movement. Sitting at the ORP on security with this unit was amazing. Mounted on the Team Wendy helmet it made the Recce course even better than I thought it would be.

    PVS-14 Wolf

I’ve only ever previously used dual tube (aviation PVS 6&9 units) so this is my first using a single monocle system. Initial unboxing and wear around the property just walking around into different environmental lighting appears to be good quality, acuity and clarity. Have not fired weapons with this yet. It does acquire the NS settings on the RDS well. Small amount of “play” in the rhino mount to helmet, I do not currently have a bungee on the mount, I expect that using one will tighten that up.
