It has a BNC base for easy on, easy off and secured attachment with zero chance for cross threading while giving greater structural integrity against lateral torsion which breaks most SMA connectors in the field.

    Very flexible, good quality

    Short range but good for very good for short range communication. Folded the antenna over and over without any issue / breaking, nice clear sound on UV-5R, seems very durable
