This two day course was incredible!
I've shot my AR-15 from a bench before but this course takes it to the next level!
Weapon sighting. Proper standing fighting stance.
Trigger set awareness. Mag changes. Weapon malfunction clearing and reload. Offside weapons engagement. Firing with dominant and offside from behind a barricade. "Buddy" drills with forward assault.
Matt, the instructor, keeps things flowing. Interspersed with life-knowledge dialog.
As an Range Officer he made sure that the four firearms rules were adhered to. I felt fully safe the whole time.
His instruction was life changing. At the beginning of the first day I felt like a fish out of water. By the end of the second day my skills had increased 100 fold and I just wanted to keep going ang getting even better.
I can't recommend enough!
I wasnt sure what to expect but having heard nothing but good from a friend I was not disappointed. A little more casual than service classes probably encouraged more questions from the inexperienced. Scout treated all questions with equal patience and often used personal experience to clarify his point. Everyone was there by choice and were treated equally. A thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience, I will be taking future classes thru Brushbeater.
