Comfy and functional
Really well made skull crusher. The two things I wish that were different is precut holes for the mount and a longer chin strap. Very happy with what I got though.

Great Cap, easy to setup
I love this cap. The forehead pad is soft and helps secure the weight of NODs on your head. Easily adjustable. I made a brief instructional video here for attaching the shroud. Scout was extremely patient with my questions, as always!

USGI General purpose pouch
Can fit this cap with a 4dt shroud, wrapped around my pvs-14, with my USGI notoros mount in a side pouch, all in a GP pouch
Fit/support is fine, its a skullcrusher

Some might say the Best Night Vision Cap ever
Cap fits great with plenty of adjustment range. Much more comfortable on the forehead than other skullcrusher designs with ratchet adjustments.
The shroud (not included) is barely smaller than the mount insert on the front of the cap so be sure to center the shroud well.
I didn’t notice Marcos Rodriguez Youtube link in the other reviews before I installed so be sure to check his video out, as he might have a better method.
To install the night vision shroud, I marked the holes with a fine tip sharpie after centering the shroud on the front of the cap.
Then used a torch and some pliers to heat up the back side of the drill bit I planned to use and carefully pressed into the sharpie markings to burn through the cordura so it didn’t get wrapped around the drill bit while I was drilling the plastic insert. The backside cordura got a small enough hole from the tip of the drill bit for the threaded bolts to punch through easily.

Great piece of equipment
I am a beginner. What I know is that this cap stayed put fully equipped for a 4 hour class. Velcro on the back was used to attach a counterweight. Velcro on top used for a leash connected to my NV. I used regular over the head electronic ear protection. Cannot get more low profile.
