Incredible. Best radio I’ve ever messed with. It’s easy to lose hours just scanning through the bands, and I’m astonished by the signals I’ve been able to tease out of this thing. It’s absolutely worth the price, which is a remarkable feat in itself. It’s more sensitive and selective than I expected, and the Noise Reduction function is a revelation. If you’re interested in radio at all, don’t hesitate.
Nice product, really has a solid feel about it! Definitely a lot to learn for me being new to this, but I'm very happy with the purchase and the fast service from Brushbeater!
First order with Bushbeater, one of the best purchases I have ever made with an online retailer! Radio was new with latest firmware, great price, and tracking/delivery was concise & quick! Will purchase from BB in the future without hesitation.
Outstanding receiver! The construction is good and the portability factor make a must have item.
I bought this receiver and was impressed with its capabilities. I ran it for a day or so and opted to upgrade the firmware from v2.30 to v2.40 and that’s where the trouble began. I should’ve backed up the v2.30 firmware before starting (lesson learned.) The end result was a bricked DSP2. I worked on it for close to a total of 26 hours over 3 days. I researched and read everything I could on the problem to no avail. Fast forward to today (Sep 17, 2024) and through the groups.io/Malahit page I was fortunate enough to run into a guy who could help. He was part of the MalahiteamEurope and he remoted into my PC and installed the correct v2.40 firmware and I was up and running again.
I was running a Lenovo Yoga 730, Windows 11, STM32CubeProgrammer v2.50 . You can’t brick this thing! Just know that there is help out there if you get in a jam. If anyone runs into a similar problem just go to the groups.io for the Malahit and your solution is in there. Hope this helps.
