    Wear eye pro if you have this in a radio pouch.

    They're actually quite sturdy, I've landed on mine hard a couple of times and it's still kicking. Unfortunately that goes both ways and almost took my eye out one slip. When not in use, I keep it in the original packaging near the frame of my ruck to protect it from the elements and protect my face from the wrath of the Nagoya.

    Purchased the 24J for my AR152 radio. It does in fact seem to pick up signals and transmit a little better than the stock antenna. It is definitely a quality item. Seems that it will hold up well.
