I have taken several courses at the school. Some have been directly with Brushbeater and others have been with equally qualified outside trainers to teach specific topics. All training has been professional and top notch. I plan to take several more classes in the future.
Come prepared, willing to learn (not share what you think you know), have a good attitude and some flexibility and you will leave with a notebook full of notes and actual experience in the practical exercises that are done. It is great getting to put what you've learned into practice right away.
There is also a high level of quality with the people that are drawn to these classes. Not to many keyboard hero's show up for these training classes. You're going to be around folks similar to you from around the country and it feels good to know that you aren't the only one.
Can't recommend the classes enough.
It was a ton of fun: getting familiar with my handheld and some other cool equipment (a tiny SA is on my to-get list), learning techniques, and putting together antennas.
The hands on nature of the course makes the lessons more concrete and memorable in a way that books and videos just can't replicate.
