Good size to take with out and about. I will be a good while before I am skilled enough to not need a reference source.

The spiral bound notebook is a great idea but the print is nearly unreadable without a magnifier. I’d buy a reprint, if there were better use of the available page. The current version has a wide bleed, which is needlessly wasteful of valuable space.
