TCCC Intermediate is the natural progression from the basic TCCC course. Students will develop proficiency in the MARCH algorithm. Brushbeater TCCC training follows a Crawl - Walk - Run format. TCCC Intermediate will pick up from the Walk stage. TCCC - Intermediate students are expected to be reasonably knowledgeable and effective in the content covered in the standard TCCC Basic course. Most people who have taken a Basic TCCC course will be reasonably knowledgeable and effective. EMTs, military medics, and other medical professionals experienced in trauma response and the MARCH algorithm may do well to skip the basic course however it is not recommended that lay people take TCCC Intermediate without taking TCCC Basic first.

Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TC3) is the steps of primary intervention in any type of physical trauma. This course will teach the appropriate steps of response based on the current Council on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (COTCCC) guidelines used by the US Military. Course is critically important for anyone ranging from civilians to first responders to career medical staff in teaching primary life saving interventions as a first step before higher tiers of medical care can be provided.
