Volume 1 was a fantastic supplement to the NVIS and advanced RTO courses. There was also some great material to prepare for scout and recce, which I haven’t yet taken. Further, the chapters particular to clandestine and clandestine operations wetted my appetite for more. The entire volume is a great read and it will be off the bookshelf and to my reading chair many times. I’m looking forward to the next volume. Thank you, NC Scout!
from various authors that know their shit.
100% reccomend.
Great read !!lots of useful information!
I really enjoy this books information, I bought it along with the guerrilla's guide to the baofeng radio. Both are easy to understand and packed with common sense information the average person isn't thinking about. I look forward to purchasing more books in the future.
Matt,
The GD has numerous sustains. Clarity, solid content, applicability and a few others.
Improvements:
Find a program that will improve the quality of your images and graphics.
1. A few clear closeups of critical parts of your AR will be useful; Like sling attachments, mounts, etc.
2. on p91 the image of the longwire and resistor is useless.
3. The image on p97 is better, but there's some fuzziness and the flotsam in the background doesn't help.
4. The graphics on pp108-111 are borderline useless.
5. The graphics on pp192-194 are much better. I can read the legends.
6. The image on pp230 is much more useful.
7. I would like to see closeups of anchor and attachment points for baluns, antenna terminations and connections. (Please)
8. I would also like (and am willing to pay for) more specific techniques ;-)
You get the point. Take the time to upgrade your publishing software or whatever program you use to embed your images and graphics. This is the kind of intel that needs wide dissemination. Engage with these improvements and the marketability of your content will advance to the next tier. Go for it...
