    Thanks Scout

This book is an invaluable resource, I’ve purchased numerous books by Scout and gifted them.

    Perfect size

I bought the full size version when it first came out but find myself constantly referencing it and the size isn't convenient. The field version is way handy! Thanks Scout.

It was 2022 an i bought a Baofeng.

I received it and had no idea what to do with it. I finally ordered this manual from the advice of Richard Grove, and now I'm a airwave rockstar.

    Excellent resource

This is a great guide even for a licensed ham. Tons of cool build plans and techniques in there. The instructions are concise and well thought-out, really is informative on how to get the most out of these radios. Bought one manual as a Christmas gift and an extra for myself and I'm glad I did. Always a fan of spiral binding and a compact field manual, this already lives in my radio bag.

The only thing I might change is the addition of some tabbed pages to quickly jump to sections, though that's easily added on your own and I set up some additional bookmarks anyway. The font size is fairly small as others have mentioned, but with nice wide line spacing I don't find it hard to read. It's comparable in size to the smaller icons on the Baofeng display, so if you can see those to operate the radio then you can read this manual.
