I actually bought 3 of knob protectors. 2 for Ar-152 units that I had and they installed easily and work fine. the third unit I bought was for a BF-F8HP. I have to give that unit a lessor rating, 3.5 or 4 maybe. It installs fine but does not come with a new knob and the stock knob is tight and somewhat difficult to rotate. Maybe over time this knob will wear a bit and loosen up so as to be more easily manipulated. Anyway the knobs perform as claimed. they eliminate unintended volume changes.

Great idea.
Anything that lends protection to volume/channel knobs, antenna mounts or mic jacks is a great idea.
Ive added them to all my Baofeng units. I like that this one came with a replacement knob. Its design and quality is awesome.
Some of the stuff on ebay isnt that great a quality despite the design.

Fits well and does what the name implies. Knob that comes with it seems…thinner than the stock knob, leaving the shaft if the volume control exposed or maybe I just didn’t beat it on there far enough.

Well, it protects the knob! What can I say. I put one of the Vigilante protectors on every radio they fit. It’s like a screen protector…for the radio knob! Do it!

Very good product, easy to install and works great. The only issue I had was the screws that came with it were substandard. I had correct tool to fit them but they were not clearly cut right. I managed none the less. But the product itself is awesome.
