Cheap Amazon connectors had threads that were way too long so I had to use washers to take up the extra length. Brushbeater BNC connectors fit perfect and make a super strong bond to the radio. I’ll be buying more.

These connectors work perfectly to fit the gooseneck antenna to the AR152. Add an O-Ring between the connector and the antenna to create a fit that will proffer that satisfying “snap” when the connector locks in.

Nothing hurts more than a pile of connectors and adapter stacks three deep to go from X connection to Y connection.
I can verify these fit the UV-5R and DM32 radios. If you want to slip a rubber o ring “under the hood”, the “F0106” 8 x 2mm nitrile o ring in the harbor freight metric o ring kits works for both above radios.
Quick tip (if you are using an o ring) – Use your antenna to get the snug fit on the DM32 – it sits down in the well so get the adapter somewhat snug, then affix the antenna and use it to tighten a little bit more.
