The TASC – sometimes known as the Bowman – remains one of the best ways to integrate communications into your kit at the tactical level. These are a full kit, headset with microphone and the push to talk (PTT) with a Kenwood two prong plug that fits our Baofeng and DMR handheld radios.
Its an old school vibe but one that works.

Light, Efficient, and Budget-Friendly
The TASC Headset & U94 PTT is a great, and budget-friendly, way to get into a PTT setup. The Headset is incredibly light and can easily be worn under a baseball cap, boonie hat, or helmet, without any bulky upper band. I have run this setup on several hikes in the woods to great effect—it doesn’t build up excessive heat due to its light design. The Kenwood connection on the PTT will also allow you to use the setup with any other compatible radio.

Lost in the mail
Government monopoly doing what they do best. Lost in the mail, claimed delivery. I already have one and it works great. Same PTT I use as work for helicopters. Same function and durability. The headset is great for the simple fact that it’s not ear pro. Muffs are very uncomfortable in long duration. I can wear this all day and only be mildly uncomfortable.
